2009 Compass Award

The Child Guidance Clinic of Central Ct. recently held its Annual Meeting.
Tom Czarkosky , Executive Director, announced the winner of the 2009 "Compass Award" given annually to a member of the staff who is selected by their peers as the individual who has most helped the agency maintain its course in helping the community."This display of competence, enthusiasm and caring in the performance of their duties within the organization are traits which are valued by fellow workers and helps the Clinic move in the right direction" says Tom Czarkosky.

 Maryann Bisignano was awarded the 2009 Compass Award . Maryann is the accounting assistant and has been employed at the Clinic for 20 years.Says her peers"She makes sure that things run smoothly with little complaining about all of our demands", "She demonstrates  every day a caring and positive attitude"."She fills a vital role and all the staff rely on her daily."

Lauren Rizzuto, President of the Board also commented on Maryann's commitment to the clinic. " Maryann is a valued member of the team and we are so proud to add her name to the Compass Award Plaque that hangs in the Clinic Lobby along with past recipients Karen DeLane, Emelyn Lugo and Wanda Mercado.
The Child Guidance Clinic is located at 384 Pratt St. Meriden and is an established community leader in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to children,adolescents and their families.
