Position: Per Diem EMPS Clinician



Job Summary:

The Per Diem Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Service (EMPS) Clinician will function as a member of a multidisciplinary team within a mobilized community crisis program. The clinician will provide direct clinical crisis assessment, planning and stabilization services to children and families as well as outreach and education to a diverse community. The clinician will collaborate with community providers and emergency departments to link children and adolescents with clinical supports in the least restrictive settings.

 Reports to: Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services Program Manager

At least two years culturally and linguistically competent treatment experience with children, adolescents and families, preferably in an outpatient setting.  Demonstrates understanding of community based work, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a team.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

This position requires a variable work schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.


Masters level, licensed or license eligible social worker, marriage and family therapist, or professional counselor.
